Kenneth Kaszak

Ken Kasak was one of the finest fullbacks I had the privilege to coach at Wallington. He was the leading rusher on the 1975 team (the year we started to turn things around and finished second in the league) His best play was the inside trap (Rock 30 dive). Other players will remember the thump drill (a form tackling drill) When Kenny gave himself up to be tackled it looked like he was being electrocuted. I would like to take this opportunity to remember Ken for his outstanding contributions...

Kenny and I were best friends in the primary grades and stayed close until about 7th grade. Then, when we were about 20, I ran into him at a party. As I was introducing him to my then-girlfriend, I mentioned to her that we had been best friends. Ken looked at me and asked "What do you mean 'had been?'"

I am heartbroken, it is like I lost one of my own He would hang out with Russ, John Stoss, George Panasiuk, Ronny Martys and whoever else showed up at my house. My deepest condolences to your family, I will truly remember him in my prayers.
