Kenneth Eugene Kates, 88, passed away August 23, 2010. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, Mo. A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the chapel with burial to follow. Kenneth was a proud veteran of WWII....

I have many wonderful memories of Ken that I will always remember. There were so many fun trips and parties that Betty and Ken attended. We shared many laughs and good times. He will be missed but not forgotten. I will keep your family in my prayers at this difficult time.
