King, Kenneth Craig, passed away, Sunday, April 21, 2024.
Loving father of Makenzie King, Dawson Clifford and the late Spenser King. Beloved son of Arlie and Linda King and the late Beverly Brooke. Dear grandfather of Leo King. Brother of Melissa (Gregory) Trusso, Lisa Overberg and Krista (Shad) Wyckoff. Nephew of Margaritte Julius, Patsy Leighow, Phyllis Carruth and William (Sharon) Bryant. Cousin of Timothy Whitsell, Chris Julius, Christy Alberson and Justin King. Uncle of Grant Roemerman and Stacey Smyre.
Kenny had an incredible sense of humor, often bringing others to tears just by laughing his goofy laugh. He wholeheartedly embraced life as a self-proclaimed "nerd", and we were all the better for it. He loved his children and grandson unconditionally, and was a best friend to his father. He excelled in little league baseball and was an instrumental player in the Little League World Series. He was a Military brat, having lived all over the world with his sister and through his traveling, he grew to understand how multiple cultures lived and thrived together, and applied these experiences to his life. He had a passion for information technology and drove himself to excel technically. He did this little by little, but he earned it. Kenny had an insatiable appetite for knowledge and was an integral part of his team's success at Centene. No one loved and cared so readily as Kenny and he will be missed deeply.
Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, April 27 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the American Cancer Society. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

We are saddened by the sudden loss of our cousin Kenny. We will always remember Kenny and Melissa coming to Dallas and swimming in our pool with us. He was always funny and laughing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Arlie, Melissa, and the King Family.

Ken was a passionate and hard working man, both were reflected in his work and his personality. I remember when he came to visit Florida how warm and welcoming he was and how quickly and immediately we started talking about cool technologies and ideas. He was strong enough and authentic enough to challenge a bad idea, yet kind enough to help anyone who needed it. He will definitely be missed.

I remember first working with Ken back in the office. When the occasional nerf dart to the neck was the norm. I was stuck on a piece of code I was working on and he went out of his way to help me sort it out. I've collaborated with him and his team on projects here and there ever since. He was always willing to help no matter how busy he was. Rest easy buddy! My condolences to the family as well.

I met Ken over 20 years ago when I had the opportunity to work with him originally at HealthLink, and then when he came to Centene. I have many fond memories over the years of the discussions we had about our professional careers and personal interests. Ken was an open book and never hesitated to offer advice from professional and personal experiences. In recent years, he became the anchor for his team and fellow co-workers. He was always open to new ideas and supported our efforts...

I met Kenny 25 or so years ago in TX. One would always have fun when Kenny was around. His smile always lit up any room he was in. He was the best man in our wedding and I’m thankful he was always there for Tim. It was so fun when we lived near each other in MO. He was an all around great guy. Kenny was loved and he will be truly missed.

Still doesn’t feel real, but I know you & Spencer are playing catch up while looking down on Kenz & your grand baby.
Take care my brother, and will see you again on the other side.
