Not sure what to say?

Dear June,

A voice out of the past-- my sister sent me Ken's obit, and it got me to thinking what a neat couple I always thought you two were. You even conspired to get me a blind date one time!
It appears you had a long, fulfill-
ing marriage and have a wonderful, supportive family. I was interested to see your son, Kevin, lives in Potomac Falls, not all that far from Annandale.
Condolences,
Meriam McCallister Schmieg

Dear Nancy & Josh

My deepest condolances in the loss of your dad and grandpop...He sure had a fulfilled life...I am glad he is now at peace...Take comfort in knowing that you had a wonderful loving father for 80 years...and were there with him through it all, the good times and bad...Your memories will live on forever in your hearts..

I first met Ken when I attended Stan and Barb's wedding where Barb became my sister-in-law. I have seen Ken several times over the years when he came to see Stan and Barb. He was a very genuine and friendly man who will be greatly missed. My sympathies to all his family and friends.

I met Ken and June while volunteering through Meals on Wheels. For the past few years I was privileged to share some stories of his experiences with the 82nd Abn Div at our monthly meetings. I am proud to have known him and sorry for your loss.

I first met Ken as a Meals on Wheels volunteer. He and June, who was also a fantastic caseworker for us, delivered every Tuesday. Rain or shine, they were always there for nine years, unless they were traveling to Virginia or Kansas. Ken always had a smile on his face. In this past year, whatever came their way, Ken took it in stride and kept his positive outlook. Such a kind and giving man. He was a joy to know. You have a wonderful family. We at Meals on Wheels are all thinking of you. Our...

I have known Mr. Kline's daughter, Barbara, since grade school. I have pleasant memories of Barbara's Dad when I visited their home on Walnut Street, working on various school projects or just hanging out. My condolences to his family.
