Not sure what to say?

Cathy,I wanted you to know how much the tree trimmers thought of Ken. Since learning of his illness, many of the men who knew him would ask how things were going and then would share their own reflections with me. To a man, their thoughts could be summed up in one word: respect. They respected him as a man, a professional, a mentor and a teacher. It was common to hear one of the guys tell me something they learned from Ken. I know many of them were saddened to hear of his passing. I was able...

To Aunt Jennette,Cathy; and all my cousins;. We wish to extend to you all, our most heartfelt sympathy, on the huge loss of your Loved-one Kenneth. We had the great honor to know him better, when he lived with my father after my mother passed away. Ken was a great comfort, and freind to dad and ourselves through our family's hard times; and his memmory will never be forgotten, or un-appreciated.

Sincerly

Jim & Sharon Turmell

Ken was one of those rare people you meet who fully understood and appreciated why he was put on this earth to begin with. There is a great comfort being close to someone with that kind of confidence. He loved his family and spoke of them with great pride whenever he got the chance. He loved his family, he loved his work and appreciated his life as we all should. Ken had the gift to inspire by how he led his life and each one of us will take that along with us in ours.
May God bless...

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Cathy & Family - I am so sorry for your loss. I just got done reading all the entries and was nodding in agreement with what everyone wrote. Ken was indeed an inspiration to many and I feel priviledged to have known him. He was one of the kindest persons I knew. Please accept our condolences.

Cathy and Family, I am so sorry about your loss. I worked with Ken for seveal years before my retirement. Ken was always able to maintain a peaceful demeanor in spite of the often hectic pace at work.
His corageous fight with cancer was truly inspirational. On several occasions, Ken spoke of the faith in God that sustained him through his challenges. He will be remembered.

"Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, what God has ready for those who love him..." But Ken sees, hears and KNOWS God's love in the very best way now. Ken was truly a kind, gentle man and a cousin I admired. May his love live on in you.

Sorry to hear of your loss. He was such a comfort and helper to our dad when he first moved to Grand Rapids and was living with him and especially when our dad started to fail. Without his help it would have been a much more difficult time. Ken was a true blessing to all. Our thoughts are with your family at this time.
