Kenneth Kreines M.D.

Once again I have gone to the internet to look for an old friend and found I am too late. Kenny was my friend, fellow aspiring scientist, fellow Boy Scout, and classmate at P.S. 230 and Erasmus Hall High School in Brooklyn. At about thirteen years I remember his birthday party in the house on Louisa St., and the 2d-hand chemistry book I gifted him. Dr. Michael Kreines, I am so saddened to hear of your father's, and my favorite doctor's, passing. I thought of him as my "doctor dad." His firm guidance and insistence on diabetes control encouraged me to continue in college. He was there when I needed him 40 years ago! Praying you and your family find peace and have precious memories.

I am so sorry to learn of the death of your beloved husband. You both have given so much to the Cincinnati community, and we will so miss Dr. Kreines at the upcoming Kreines lecture at the Cincinnati Art Museum. May he rest in peace.
