Not sure what to say?

A brother that is missed

Dear Ken, It´s now more than 17 years since you were suddenly called home. We, your children and your family, miss you terribly and speak lovingly of you often, because you were, have been and still remain a great blessing in our lives. I guess you were the first to know of the sudden and unexpected passing of our son Kenny that early morning of September 29. Like you, he died without previously known, signs or symptoms of a silent killer. Your daughters and I mourn his recent...

Dear Ken,
A year has gone by since you were called home. It is still had to believe that you are not physically with us anymore. You are still with me in spirit and still receiving your blessings. Thank you. I miss you.Thank you.

Hi Ace,

It is almost impossible for me to comprehend that 365 days have come and gone since you were called Home. I miss you terribly and not one of those days has passed without thoughts of you entering my mind in a loving and gentle way. But that's how it was when you were here so why should it be any different when you're gone? You are loved and remembered by all who knew you. You are such a gift to us!

Lord, help us cope with our grief. Help us to be strong. Help us to live...

On November 1-All Saints Day, ("there are no coincidences") Ken Kuffner's name was read at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, Pagosa Springs. As I continue on my path of elderhood I often refer to Ken's reassuring guidance & wisdom. I am blessed to have known him.
Peace.

Hi Ace,

It didn't seem right sending this note to Judy, Bill, Dan, & Charlie and not including you as well. So here's a copy of my note to them today - the anniversary of the birth of our dear sweet Mother - the Alpha Nana.

Much love to you from your brother Jim.

Happy Wednesday to all of you. I know Nana is smiling down on each of us.

As was noted earlier on the 20th anniversary of Mom's death, it is hard to believe this year marks the 40th for Dad, the 20th for...

Miss you Uncle Ken.
I know that you were singing your solo part for "Nothing like Dame" loud and clear up in Heaven. Thanks for being there. I am so grateful that Andy had the chance to meet you. You are a special Uncle. Love you always.

To the Kuffner Family,

I heard about Ken when it happened, but it was such a shock that I couldn't think of anything appropriate to say - only the often observed thought that:

"The good always seem to go first"

Don't remember who I knew first, Charlie or Ken. Ken was two years behind me at St. Pete's; Charlie was three years ahead and very tight with my brother Ray - so tight, he was an usher at Ray's wedding and coached me, the still grateful but then...

I was saddened to learn when I recently sent Ken an email that bounced back of his untimely death. Most of my time getting to know Ken was thru our respective mediation and arbitration activities in Texas. I knew Ken as an ultimate professional and truly an asset to the legal profession. I was privileged to know him, and would like to express my sincere condolences to his family.
