Kenneth M. Leedy Kenneth Marvin Leedy, 77, of Arvonia, died on Sunday, August 11, 2013, at his residence. He was born on May 26, 1936, in Bluefield, Virginia, a son of the late Kenneth Marvin Leedy Sr. and Bonnie (Neal) Leedy. Mr. Leedy was a retired bus driver for Greyhound Bus Lines. He was a Veteran, having served his country in the United States Marines. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church and enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, and tractors. Survivors include his wife, Maxine (Cobb) Leedy of Arvonia; two children, Michael Leedy and wife, Lacy, of Palmyra, and Patty Carmichael and husband, Steve, of Sandston; a sister, Linda Haislip and husband, Bernard, of Cumberland; three grandsons, Dustin, Robby and Hunter; two great-grandsons, Stephen and Blake; and a number of extended family and friends. A funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church in Arvonia, with Pastor Charles Undercoffer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Central and Western Virginia, 1160 Pepsi Place #306, Charlottesville, VA 22901; or to the Palmyra Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
