Not sure what to say?

Mr. Lester was my junior high football coach and social studies teacher. I don´t remember many of my teachers but I remember him. Very inspirational coach, remember some of his encouraging comments to this day. Went to school with his son Mike who was one of the most respectful persons I´ve had the pleasure of knowing. Mentors/coaches/teachers like Mr. Lester are a short list and he will be remembered and missed.

I was saddened to learn of his passing. Mr. Lester was one of the very best teachers I had in middle school, and I wish I'd known how to contact him to tell him that. I learned as much about American history and government from him as I did from similar classes in college. Best of all, he was a very witty man. He had a way of taking history that lesser teachers would have driven into the ground with unimaginative instructing and making it relatable -- the random accidents and dumb luck...

Shirley,
I pray that each day the Lord will give you the strength, love and comfort you need at each moment. I've always enjoyed the positive personalities of the two of you and will visit with you in person the next time you are in Arizona. Fondly, Gail Fassett

R.I.P Mr. Lester

Shirley and family. Ken was a friend, a mentor and a great teammate for life. He was a man of great strength yet a soft heart. We are blessed to have known him and had his example.

Shirley, thinking of you! All my love, Lori Blanc-Silves
