Not sure what to say?

I have the fondest memories of Mr. Lukasiewicz from the time I transferred to AHS way back in the day, as a sophomore who'd just moved to CT from NJ. His honors English class was a refuge, and arguably my most memorable class at AHS. Ken (as he ultimately allowed me to call him) was a gifted teacher who pushed his students in the most positive way; my written and spoken English blossomed that year, and his firm but gentle guidance, coupled with his vast knowledge, openness, humor and...

Jameson, `Luke´ was a friend of mine while going thru high school. He not only was my sophomore home room teacher but also my wrestling coach. He was always good to me and my brother and sisters. He will be greatly missed.

I will forever be grateful to him and his...

I was sorry to read of Ken´s death. He was a valued colleague and an incredible teacher. My son Dan was very fortunate to have him at Avon high school. Sending condolences to his family. Lil Diachenko

It was a pleasure to work with Ken as a fellow English teacher. He will be missed by colleagues and former students. My deepest condolences to all the family. Jon Elliott

To the Lukasiewicz Family: I am so sorry to read about the passing of Mr. Lukasiewicz. He was my English teacher at Avon High School in the 1970-71 school year. I learned so much vocabulary during that year. He was fun and funny, and I loved his class. With many happy memories of Mr. Luke, I send my very deepest sympathy to you all. RIP, Mr. Luke.
