Not sure what to say?

I became a Gold Star mom in 2011. We were visiting a memorial for the Fallen Heroes and I was gravitated to the face of this beautiful warrior. I went online after returning home to read about him. My deepest and profound sympathies for the loss of your most precious son! He is and will always be a HERO. God Bless those left behind

light up the sky with your bright vivid spirit and bath the world in your love you had for all.

I never have forgotten the day I met you in Tacoma, WA on Warner Street. Just before you married your wife and before you shipped out. You played ball with my eldest son Mikey who was only 4 yrs old while his sister and other brothers were close by an I was outside watching Mikey having fun. You were always good with kids and kind to all. It broke my heart when you were gone from this world. We all lost a beautiful spirit of a man who was selfless that day. You deserved to be a father and so...

I am sitting here thinking of you as I so often do. It's hard to believe you have been gone 11 years. We celebrated your 32nd birthday on the 15th. Chrissy and Joe decided to get married on your birthday so it was a 5th anniversary, also. You always will be a big part of our lives and your spirit is all around us.

Always remember that we love you, son.

Love Mom

I knew you for a blink in time Cross. You gave the last measure, all your yesterdays, todays, and your tomorrows. Hero's like you is the sole reason our country will always stay free. You will never be forgotten Cross, never.

I miss you a ton. I'm saddened that God has called you home. Even though I barely knew you I'm glad that we're family and great grandpa and you are up there talking about the same jobs you guys have done proud of you
