Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry Gaila. I just found out about Kenny. What a friend, brother and inspiration he was to me and all of the old gang. I grew up with him but he truly grew up while the rest of us languished in childhood. Never forgotten always loved... Bro, until our next party, wait for me ! Steve Flaherty

Kenny and I worked together at 8 and 34. He always made me smile. Thanks Kenny! God bless your family during this difficult time. See you in heaven Brother

If the orders had Kenny coming to Station 38 to be in charge, I knew it was going to be a good shift. The man knew how to take care of business while keeping things relaxed and fun. I remember laughing a lot when Kenny was around. He actually had me in tears on more than one occasion from laughing so hard. I regret that I never spent any time with Kenny off duty. He will be missed, and fondly remembered.

I had the good fortune of starting as a rookie and working with Kenny at station 6. Kenny’s great attitude and quick wit assured every shift brought laughter or a smile.
My deepest condolences to Kenny’s family.

So sorry you have left us Kenny. We met each other early in our careers at AFD. You were serious about your job, but never seemed to get riled about anything else. The world lost a man of good cheer and infectious smile. God bless you and your family.

Kenny was just an acquaintance who I met years ago. My friend John had a party for his wife Nancy when she “made” it into the AFD. I’m an art guy who Kenny asked what I did for fire suppression in my studio, I said I used a hose. He said if you give me 20 push-ups I’ll give you an extinguisher! I did and 24hrs later I had the extinguisher. 2 years later my house caught fire and I put it out and saved my artwork thank you Kenny! Sorry station 6 who showed up but Kenny prevailed!

What a wonderful person, Kenny was one of a kind. He could always make you smile, the Angels in heaven are in for a treat. He was a fireman's fireman!
