Not sure what to say?

Ken was my father-in-law and was one of the kindest and gentlest people I've ever known. When I would come home after working all day, I would ask him how his day had gone. When he had good days, which were usually when he was off from dialysis, he would say his day was "super fine"! Although we will always miss him and wish he were with us, I know that all of his days are now "super fine" since he is no longer in pain and he is with Ruth, his one true love!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Kenny, you were part of our AHDC family, the staff and fellow patients will truly miss you. We will all remember in our own special way. You are now free of pain and no more needle sticks. Rest in peace, Kenny.

Ken was my Grandpa and I will always cherish the time I got to spend with him when we all lived together. I got to know him in a way I never would have. His kindness and love for animals I will never forget and his determination. I will always miss him and will think of him for the rest of my life.

Uncle Kenny was more than my uncle, it was as if he was my big brother. I'll always remember how gentle and kind he was and how he use to call me Uncle Dennis. I'll keep him and Aunt Ruth in my prayers and heart forever.

Kenneth was a dear friend of ours that was out side sitting or walking bravely with his walker. He loved his family and was always wanting to do more than he was able to, like pulling the cans into the garage and picking up the newspapers. We will and do already miss him.
