Dover – Kenneth R. Meadows, 62, of 115 Glen Hill Rd. died Wednesday November 9, 2005 at the Riverside Rest Home.

Born April 2, 1943 in Lexington, MA the son of Jesse and Lillian (Wilkinson) Meadows. He was a graduate of Lexington Schools, the Wentworth Institute, Lowell Tech School and also attended Nathaniel Horthorne College.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era having served from 1967 – 1969. He moved to Dover in 1970. He was a former coach with the Dover Youth Hockey Association in the 1980’s and also served on the Dover Youth Hockey Association Board.

Ken was an entrepreneur and was the former proprietor of Kwiki Kabs, Kwiki Car Wash, Kwiki Express Trucking, the Bus Stop Market where he was also a Trailways Bus Agent and later owned and operated the Ken-X Express Trucking Co.

He was a communicant of St. Mary Church.

A hard working, giving and generous man he is survived by his wife of more than 30 years Suzanne (Sullivan) Meadows, two sons Christopher Valley and wife Jacqueline of Dover, Matthew Meadows, U.S. Navy stationed at Norfolk, VA, a daughter Rebecca Valley of Dover, two grandchildren Jacob Valley and Ameen Valley. He also is survived by three brothers George Meadows of Florida, Peter Meadows of Westford, MA, Paul Meadows of Milford, MA, three sisters Eleanor Ricard of Litchfield, NH, Marilyn Peterson of Burlington, MA, Joanne Daley of Methuen, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Church, corner of Chestnut & Third St. with Rev. Fritz Cerullo, OSA, pastor as celebrant. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
