May the many memories Ken helped create find root in your heart and bring special recollection to your mind as you both mourn and celebrate his wonderful life.

Phil was my Bishop when I was in law school in Tucson. I remember one Sunday when a high councilman was speaking in church and went on and on 'till Bishop Merrill stood up, put his arm around the high councilman's shoulder and said, "I am sorry, Brother Smith, but I promised these folks that I would have them home in time to...

May the family be comforted by Psalms 63:8 where God promises to hold us by his right hand through any situations we face on earth and death is the ultimate hurt we have to endure.
