Ken was a dear friend and colleague. We served together at Delaware County Community College (DCCC), Media, PA. He lived on my street in West Chester, PA for a time (Dunsinane Drive). I succeeded him in 1978 as Philadelphia area Cluster Coordinator for the Nova University doctoral program that many DCCC folks completed. That started me on a 25 year career with Nova University, (PT and FT) that landed me in Florida for good. In the 90s, Ken was Executive Director of the Council for Private...

I worked with Ken at the Council for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. During this time I experience his genuine, considerate, and fair administrative type. He had a profound influence on my career development and advancement. I never forget his encouragement and trust in my ability to suceed. His laughter wil always be with me!

To Lillian: I am so sorry for your loss. Ken was my boss at Delaware County Community College back in the late 1980's. He was, without a doubt, the best boss I ever had. His sense of humor came through every day and we laughed and laughed. I have the greatest respect for Ken and always will. I miss him already. I am so glad you had some good years together. Please accept my condolences.

To Lilian:
Ken was Dean of Instruction at Delaware County Community College when I was a beginning counselor and then beginning administrator. His help and guidance and professionalism were a tremendous help to me, a struggling "newbie" to the educational world.

Ken was a wonderful person to have as the Chief Operating Officer at CHOC (Community Housing Opportunities Corporation) in Davis, California, at a time when the administrative staff, the board of directors and the non-profit organization as a whole was going through difficult transitions. He was caring, considerate, kind, compassionate, and always highly professional. His active listening skills were unparalled. Everyone there just thought the world of him, and when he accepted another...

Ken, even though I didnt know you personally, I knew you through my mom, who to has cancer. Your common sense and experience with the same illness seemed to help her. She is just about to the point to where she will start her treatments and had so many questions for you. I appreciate the hope you have given her, and I surely will miss my moms "advisor". Peace be with your family. Again thanks for being there for my mom.
