Kenneth Wayne Mitchell

Kenny and I go back to the old Liberty Bell Park and Brandywine harness racing days. Kenny was a sharp trainer/ conditioner with a high in the money percentage. Often times, I would often see Kenny playing his favorite machine and we would talk about his fight with cancer. I had a relative going through the same battle. Kenny was often upbeat but faced cancer with courage and did not let the disease get to him. Like his horses who battled down the stretch, the finish line came too soon....

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kenny and his family. May you rest in peace.
