Kenneth Mondak, age 75, of Valley View passed away July 27, 2025. Beloved husband of Lolly (nee Foltz). Dear father of Kelly Smith (Patrick) and Scott (Jamie). Dear grandfather of Leo Smith, Cameron Smith and Althea Smith. Son of the late Frank E. and Ruth (nee Wallenhorst). Brother of Mondak (deceased) (Jo-Ann) and Fran Vanderwyst (Boyd). Visitation Friday August 1, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. at the Fortuna Funeral Home, 7076 Brecksville Rd., Independence, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday August 2, 2025 at 12 noon at St. Michael Catholic Church. (EVERYONE IS ASKED TO PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Make a Wish Foundation or Special Olympics.
We met Ken through the Lasky family as a dear friend with them. He did several home improvements for us but moreover we remember him for his kindness and knowledge about a lot of things and of course his chili.
