Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Ken's passing. I knew Ken from the time I was playing in my first quartet as a sophomore in high school and bought my first music from Ken (Girl From Ipanema, Krakowska Polka, etc.),then years later filling in for Matty Weir on some gigs and learning the music trade. I always looked forward to the occasional call to fill in with 'Pop' orchestra and see many of the musicians I played with and admired over the years. Occasionally seeing Ken at the Blue Bonnet Diner and...

Ken-- I will miss you and your stories about being a musician. It's been a great pleasure to sing your charts in the Heritage Pops Orch. all these years. Thanks for your talent and sense of humor and thanks for the memories.

Ken was a long time dear friend. We worked on so many shows together over the years. His musical genius never ceased to amaze me. At our last visit, we talked about all the past shows we had such a great time doing, and he exhibited that impish sense of humor he always had. I value the time I spent with him that day, and I will always value our friendship. I know his loss will be felt deeply by so many, and I send my very sincere sympathy to his family, who he loved so much. Rest in peace,...

Ken was truly gifted. The musical community, and ballroom dancers from all over the valley will miss him. I remember how welcoming he was. I remember his sense of humor. I will truly miss him. God console and comfort his family. May he play with the big band in Heaven.

Dearest Friend Maryanne, I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I am glad I had the opportunity to see and talk with him one last time at the birthday party. My heart goes out to you. Love, Ilene

Ken, his mom, and my dad played the nursing home circuit years ago..as I grew, until month or more ago, we chatted about the old days...always called me by my dad's first name...Frank...peace to you Kenny, now you finally have what you wanted...

To all the Morey family my deepest sympathy. It was my honor and pleasure to know Ken and to play his charts with John Baretska and also with the Heritage Pops Band. He will be missed by me and the entire music industry to which he so aptly dedicated his life's work. Thanks Ken ,go in peace , be with God. Al Doty

OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHIES TO THE MOREY FAMILY. KEN WAS ONE OF OUR FAVORITES.

I was there a number of times at the Sacred Heart School cafeteria to listen to the Heritage Band. My father was Vic Kraz (Krzanowski). Wow, could those guys play. Ken and Vic worked on numerous arrangements together over the years. So sorry for your loss.
