Bishop Kenneth B. Morgan went home to be with our Lord and Savior at the age of 82 on Friday, November 1,, 2019 at the Morgan household.
Kenneth was born April 28, 1937 in Newton, Texas. He was the younger of 2 boys born to Harry and Nettie Morgan. He graduated from Apostolic
College where he met his beautiful wife-to-be Julia Lou Burton in 1955.
He had a great love for all people, could play any instrument and used his powerful singing voice to send his message of God to the world. Kenneth was a mentor to so many. He built churches from the ground up, and was a loved and respected general in God’s army. He was deeply loved by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and all who knew him.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Nettie Morgan, as well as his brother, Harold Morgan; wife, Julia Morgan and son, Burton Morgan.
He is survived by his loving children, Julene, Kenneth and wife, Christen and Kandace and husband, Ronnie as well as 17 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and nephews, a multitude of extended family, friends and a loving church family.
Kenneth will be remembered as a bright, shining light by his family,

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019 and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019. The visitation and service will be held at Mims Baptist Church, 1609 Porter Road, Conroe, Texas. Rev. David Hagan of Mississippi will officiate. Worship music will be led by recording artists, David and The Giants. Internment will immediately follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Willis, Texas.
