Mrs. Morris was my 1st grade teacher. She was always so kind and caring to us. My fondest memory was her beautifully decorated classroom. As a teacher myself, I truly understand the time she would spend on weekends putting up decorations for her little children to enjoy. Every month was a new adventure. I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Morris for several years at the Ignacio Elementary School. She was such a special lady and a very special teacher. We were blessed to know her. I believe she is in that special place God has for teachers.

I have fond memories of Mr and Mrs Morris. Mrs Morris was my 1st and 2nd grade teacher. Mr Morris, I remember from the store, which I frequented a lot, for candy,shoes,and galoshes, etc. Mr and Mrs Morris had a very positive influence on my life, growing up in the great little town of Ignacio. Rest In Peace. You are not forgotten.

My first teaching job was in Ignacio in 1960. This is when I first met the Morris family. Eula Mae accompanied my singing at numerous events in and around La Plata Co. I can still remember her beautiful singing voice. I am sad to learn of their passing.

I remember mrs Morris, Louis, Kenneth, and Lee Patrick from my growing up years in Ignacio. My granpa, Juan Andres Romero had an account at Morris' and when he paid the monthly bill, he would come home with a bag of candy, courtesy of Morris's. My condolences to my old school mate Sharon Patrick.
