Not sure what to say?

Professor Moynihan was one of the best professors I had at Assumption. I took his Civil Rights colloqium class and it was by far the most memorable. We were a small group of about five students who met weekly at a round table, discussing the readings in-depth and strengthening our opinions with his guidance. He got us fired up about the topics, making us want to learn more. I could tell as a student that he was passionate about teaching and cared deeply about keeping us engaged, talking to us...

I have such fond memories of Professor Moynihan's classes and was saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family during this very sad time. Peg Junge Lederman Class of 1977.

Dear MaryJo, my deepest sympathies to you. I saw the love and kindness that you showed each other over the years. You are an angel and ken was an outstanding man and husband. I enjoyed knowing him. He had a lot of spunk as you do. i love you, and am thinking of you. Heartfelt thoughts, Patty McCorkle (works at Dr. Haddad's)

Mary Jo:
So sorry I was unable to be with you today. I will pray for you and for Ken, one of the best friends I ever had.

Although I did not take any of Professor Moynihan's classes, I want to express my condolences & deep sadness for your family's loss. Ken certainly made a huge contribution to Assumption College & to the city of Worcester. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
Tricia (O'Rawe) Yankowskas, class of 1981

Prof. Moynihan will always be remembered as one of my favorite professors at Assumption. I still speak about him often and his wonderful humor and positive attitude. I'll never forget the first day of class he came right out with a joke about his hands shaking due to his Parkinson's and had us all laughing. He never let his sickness get in the way of doing what he loved and helping us learn. I wish everyone can have a teacher like him at least once in their lifetime. He will be greatly missed.

To Ken's family, I attended Assumptions from 1973 to 1977, graduating with a degree in history. Ken was the most influential professor that I had during my time at Assumption College. I think that I took every course that he taught in those years. He taught history in a way that taught us to deal with primary source materials and he taught us to think critically about what we read. Ken's method of teaching and his obvious love of the material served me exceptionally well in law school, turned...

As a classmate of Ken's at the prep I remember him as a very bright, caring person. He was our class president and carried that responsibility with him through his life. Ken will be missed by all members of the 1962 Assumption Prep class. Rest in peace my friend.
