Not sure what to say?

Sadly, I missed Ken´s funeral, no doubt it was SRO anyway. Even though I hadn´t talked to Ken in a few years, Ken was a key influence in my life. We worked together, spent time together; he was the closest person in my life to be named a mentor. He was so very smart. Underestimated many times due to his country charm and easy going demeanor - that was his advantage. His was a consummate deal maker, and had the unique ability to make the complex so simple. He was generous and a wonderful...

My big brother was the most outstanding man! He was the star of our family, adored by everyone. He was accomplished in all his endeavors. He was intelligent and quick witted, yet never offensive or hurtful. He was successful financially, yet never arrogant or snobbish. He was supportive and helpful, provided you were doing your best. Being with my brother always made me feel uplifted! As if I was a bit more like him. His excellence lifted those around him! My brother was a man to...

I was blessed to meet Ken because of my friendship with his daughter, Michelle, and over the years I was able to visit with him several times and to appreciate and enjoy his quick wit, his business savvy, the entertaining stories from his adventures growing up with his friend David Mallory to the humorous tales about his college days, and there was nothing that came close to the dynamic way he lived his life, both personally and professionally. This man was fierce and passionate and made...

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Ken was my cousin. Our grandmothers were sisters. We spent some time together as kids and I hated that he would always beat me in monopoly. He was always competitive, and a baseball encyclopedia. As we grew up and married, we each went our separate ways. After I was divorced living in California, I would visit Ken when I was in Dallas - we always kept in touch. We did some of that cemetery tromping in East Texas where both our ancestors were buried. My heritage was across the pond in merry...

Ken was larger than life. He had a way with words and you always knew where he was coming from. Rest in peace Ken. You will be missed.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

I will miss our phone conversations, the memories & laughter. R.I.P boss, til we meet again. Love ya

My sincere sympathy to the Murphy Family and Friends for the loss of a dear friend. Ken was an Entrepreneur's Entrepreneur, "The Best of The Best' and just a plain outstanding human being. I coveted my relationship with Ken and he was the best friend that anybody could ever ask for. He was a person who always wanted to to touch other people's lives and he did it often. We spent a lot of time and energy promoting the University of North Texas and the establishment of the Murphy Enterprise...
