MYERS, Kenneth Junior - Of Lapeer, age 92, died Friday, March 25, 2017 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.





Funeral service will be held 1pm Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,





Reverend Robert Cattane officiating.





Burial in Flint Memorial Park with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard.



 



Contributions may be made to South Flint Church of the Nazarene.



 



Visitation 1-3pm and 5-8pm Monday at the funeral home.



 



Kenneth was born in Saginaw, Michigan on August 10, 1924. He proudly served in the United States Navy for 3 ½ years during World War II in the Asia Pacific Theater. On June 29, 1947, he married Mary Bush. He was a member of South Flint Church of the Nazarene. Kenneth was a successful dairy farmer in Hadley, Michigan retiring in 1987.



 



Surviving are son, Kenneth D. Myers of Mesa, Arizona;



 



daughter, Mary Ann and husband Fred R. Brown of Grand Blanc;



 



4 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren;



 



And numerous nieces and nephews.



 



Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mable Myers, brothers, George and Ray Myers, sister, Shirley Horvath, baby daughter, Linda Kay Myers and daughter-in-law, Kathy Myers.

Mary Ann - I can't make the funeral tomorrow but I wanted to express my condolences. He is at peace and your caregiver dedication is beyond words. Cindi is on her way back from TN tomorrow and I waited too long to check on the finalized arrangements. God Bless you and we hope to see you soon.
