Not sure what to say?

I have been out of town and just learned of Ken's passing. Needless to say I was taken aback at how someone who gave so much of his life always was taken so quickly. He will always be my friend, someone who always helped me look at the bright side of things and always had a smile for everyone. My love and prayers to Barb and the family. He will truly be missed in our little part of the world here in Nooksack Valley where everyone takes care of each other.

Dear Barb and family,
I remember first meeting Ken in 1962 when he played middle linebacker at Meridian Jr. High; he scared me, a short-lived opposing quarterback to death. For four years he knocked me and others around the various athletic fields and courts in Whatcom County with his size, strenght, skill and passion. It was a number of years later that I met him at his church and discovered another size of Ken--his passion for Jesus and his unwavering commitment to the Nooksack Valley...

Barb, so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. May you feel the love of family, friends and our lord surrounding and comforting you in the coming days

Barb and family we are so sadden to lose such warm, friendly person. You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. Nancy and
Bob Olson

Dear Barb and family, I will always remember Ken with a smile. He had that smile and humor that was infectious. He always was a bright light when he came into the dentist office. Prayers, Lori Younkin

Barb,
So sorry for your loss.

Jesus said, "You will know my disciples because they love one another" Ken really displayed Love to one another. I remember when my father had a heart attack. Ken was there and prayed with us. How Christ like. You were so blessed to have a husband and father who loved Christ. That too is apparent in your family. We will all miss him. I especially will miss his bear hugs. I know we will see Ken again. In Christ

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Faith, light and hope.
Kellie and Blaire Edwards and Chasity Madsen

Barb, how can someone truly tell you in words the loss we as a friend, church family and whole community feel right now. May our loving lord Jesus Christ wrap you and your family in his arms at this sad moment and get you through all of this with love and compassion. Your family will be in my constant prayers. I can just hear Ken up in Heaven telling everyone everything is going to be ok. Take care and God bless. Kelly (LeMaster) Isfeld
