Kenneth Thomas Nelson

Ken was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known. We meant in 1964 while we were both freshman at Jacksonville State University. Being from New Jersey, Ken would take to his parents(who I considered my Southern parents) many weekends and holidays. Ken was the true meaning of a Southern Gentleman. He loved talking to people and they loved talking to Ken. Ken always treated me like a brother and welcomed me into his Shades Crest home ever time I came back to Birmingham for a visit....

My thoughts and prayers are with the Nelson family. Sorry for your loss. May the memories shared fill your hearts with joy during this time of bereavement.
