I worked with Ken when he was the AC of Office of Disability and I worked for a state agency processing disability claims. He was a caring, thoughtful, and well-respected leader. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.

To my childhood neighbors, such fond memories I have growing up with the entire Nibali family. From climbing the huge tree in the front yard and racing on bicycles all over. You all were a treat to have as my friends. Fly with the angels Kenny, it sounds like you are one of them. Peace be with you.

I didn't know Ken well, but I knew him well enough to realize that he was an exceptional public servant. And now I know that he was a fine human being as well; in yiddish, a "mensch." My sympathy to those who miss and mourn Ken, who died too young.

To Ellen and your family -
So thankful we got to see Ken and meet you at our 50th CHS reunion 2 years ago. Ken and I knew each other from 2nd grade on. One of the memories that we shared was in 7th grade - Mrs. Manger's "CORE" class. We were behind in English grammar, so the teacher would tutor us after school, and then drive each of us home. I also remember the very bumpy rides home from Westchester ES on the school bus, with Mr. Fisher driving the bus. So very sorry to learn of...

Ken was a junior high and high school friend. We re-connected in recent years, even though I now live in California. He was as kind, talented, and witty in his 60s as he was when he was 17. His unselfish commitment to helping others, especially those less fortunate, should be a model for all of us. I am devastated, but lucky that I knew him.

So sorry to hear about this. He and I had regular matches on our annual Myrtle Beach trips. Always had a joke, sarcastic comment, and a smile. Rest in peace.
