You will always be my foreverā¤
April 21, 2017
To my father in law :
Dear Ken,
I didn't get to share as many memories with you as I wished I could have. I never got tractor rides, or fishing trips, I never got days at the beach or time working in the garage. You were taken from us way too soon.. But, I did cherish the time we had together.
Today we lay you to rest, and there is so much I wished you could be here for, but most importantly, I'm left wishing that you could be there when I marry your daughter. I know we will never get that.
So, I wanted to take the time now to say Thank you. Thank you for raising the woman I grew up and fell in love with. Thank you for blessing me with the love of my life. Without you, there never would have been her. You instilled in her the qualities that make her who she is today. You helped mould my life into what I am blessed with, and I'll never get the chance to repay you. I hope we make you proud. I hope you walk with us always.
Lastly, I want to say that I love you. As we lay you to rest today, I want you to know how truly grateful I am to have had you in my life. You will be missed always.
Love,
Jon

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked in the DDC with him before retiring in 2006. He was a good man who will be missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers will be with you. May God grant you peace.

Thinking of your family and pray you will find that, with time, your grief will turn into gratefulness for the wonderful memories you have. Kenny was a great guy to work with. He was smart, quick, and made you laugh when the work was tough going. One of the best.
