Not sure what to say?

Piano student with Ken for several years (70's). Ken was a gift to me spiritually and piano... Ken changed my life, we had an honesty that was very rich for men to experience. I knew it was a "gift" that was actually happening to me as I opened up to Ken. He reached right inside me and allowed me smile...

Very sad to hear about Ken's passing.
I was the guitarist with the 7th Army "Inside Out" show and had the highest regard for him and his musicianship.
That was in 1959 in Stuttgart.
Sympathies.

Hi Barb and family; again I share my deepest sympathies with all of you. I took the liberty while at the International Accordion convention in Vegas, to give a copy of Ken's service handout to Mr. Morocco, thinking that he would want that and he was very thankful. All there recognized him as his passing was announced the first evening and many of us prayed for comfort for you and the family. He indeed will be greatly missed and I was so proud to consider Ken my friend.. Rick and Pat Hatley

Dear Barbara and family, We have all lost a friend and an amazing accordianist. It didn't get any better. I was in California playing for a Swiss festival so was unable to attend services. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Your Friend, Lyle Schaefer

I followed Ken for years with Bob Alec and with other bands for years and he will missed.
Barabara I am sadened for your loss.
George Sumner

Ken Olendorph was a musician of exceptional quality and range. He left a legacy of jazz, fine music and arrangements that will linger for a long time to come. My best wishes to his family, and his many friends. He will be missed by all, especially those in the Seattle area.

So Sorry to Hear of Ken's Passing. We booked him for many events over the years through Professional Entertainment and he always brought a wonderful gift with his music to the people he performed for.

Barbara, Kendra, Brian, Kris, and grandchildren:

Words are so insignificant to recognize the sudden loss you all have. Thank God for memories and photos and cd's.

I think what must have enabled Ken to be the person he was -- not only the God-given talent he had -- but also because of his reciprocated love for Barbara and his family.

Can just imagine the band that's rehearsing in the "next room": "When the Saints Go Marching In" will never sound better...
