When Ken Olsen was semi-retired, he had an office in Vons Real Estate Dept. and I was privileged to be his Administrative Assistant. An exceptional person, he was also extremely kind, very generous and had a great sense of humor. As a very devout man, he practiced his faith every day. His vast network of friends and contacts in the food industry enabled him to call upon them for food donations for the homeless and he would then, personally, serve the homeless their food. Dear Aunt Dickie and all your beautiful extended family,
Uncle Ken was such a wonderful man and we feel so honored to have known both of you. You are both a beautiful example of how we should all live our lives and we truly hope to live up to the ideals you both have shown us in your lives.
This is a fabulous obituary of a truly great man who will be missed very very much.
