Kenneth Oomens

Ken always had a great attitude, both at the P.D and as neighbors here in Peoria.

Janice & Family, I was fortunate enough to work with Ken for only 3 yrs at HEPD (1980-1983) which was way to short. Ken made coming to work fun, and was an outstanding policeman who taught me so much while working in Investigations with him, for which I will never forget him! May he forever Rest In Peace now. Kenny....Thanks for being such a great Friend/Police Officer. You were one of a kind!

Ken was a dear friend, kindred spirit and most of all one of the nicest people ever. I've missed you since you moved and am very sad I will never get to hear your laugh again.

My sincere condolences to the Oomens family. I was a long time friend of Ken's from the Austin neighborhood and Our Lady Help of Christians School. I'd definitely be interested in attending both the service and celebration of life when they are eventually scheduled.

Janice, I am so sorry for you and your family's loss. I worked with Ken many years ago and fondly remember him as always being cheerful and having something witty to say. My thoughts and prays are with you.
