Eastgate Funeral Home - Garland Obituary

Kenneth was born August 20, 1930 in Van, Texas. He was the youngest child of Luther and Estelle Osborne. He passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Dallas, where he had resided with his wife of 64 years, Mary Osborne.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and his 2 sisters.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Karen Parish of Dallas, Texas, Jeanette McDougal and husband Donald McDougal of Dallas, Texas, his son, Richard Osborne and wife Yvonne Osborne of Charlotte, North Carolina; six grandchildren, Kristi Samons, Trena Anderson, Jon Pasqua, Kerri Pasqua, Don McDougal, Jr., Jason McDougal and 11 great grandchildren.

Kenneth is greatly loved and will be missed by his friends and family.

Kenneth served his country honorably during the Korean War as a Sergeant. Upon his return to civilian life, he resumed his work as a carpenter. His skills as a cabinet maker were well known, which eventually led him to cofound a respected custom cabinet manufacturer where he worked until his retirement 1995.

Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, in addition to being loyal and reliable to his many friends.

Kenneth dedicated his life to the Lord at a young age and remained a steadfast Christian. Along with his wife, he was a founding member of Roseland Assembly of God. Roseland later merged with Urban Park Assembly of God, which is now called King of Glory Assembly of God, where he was a trusted board member for over 60 years.
