Not sure what to say?

Kenny was definitely cool. I admired the fact that he always wore a smile and walked with a great sense of confidence. I only saw him once after we graduated from Manhattan at the same reunion mentioned by Tommy Quinn. What impressed me most about him was that he made no complaints and expressed no bitterness about his illness. On that night, he was the life of the party. He has left this world a better place just for having been here. He will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear about Kenny's passing and want you to know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers. I was a fellow Jasper and learned of his battle with ALS at our one of our class reunions. I'm glad that we all had such a good time together that night and I will remember him as a great and funny guy.

So sorry to hear of Ken's passing. Such a loss for his family and this world!

To the Petrow family, I grew up with Kenny in Astoria I also attended Brooklyn Tech and took the subway to Brooklyn, along with George for every day for two years (I was two years older). I was deeply saddened when I read about Kenny's passing in the Tech Alumni newsletter. I have a lot of great memories of Kenny and those teenage years in Astoria, playing hockey in the schoolyard, touch football in the street or just doing what teeagers did.

Kenny was always a leader and a good...

Angie,

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. I worked for such a short time with you on B6 at HH, but your kind hearted nature left a lasting impression. You and your family are in my thoughts.

To the Petrow family,
I was shocked and deeply saddened when I heard the news about Kenny through Jasper Jottings, an on-line news forum from Manhattan College. I was a friend of Kenny's at Manhattan and spent a lot of time with him those years. I'm sorry to say I never saw Kenny after graduation day, but wish I had kept in touch. I smiled when I read the obituary about Kenny being "cool". I always thought Kenny was the coolest guy I ever knew and felt special that someone that cool...

So sorry to hear of about your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

With Love,
Matt, Alicia, Matthew, Bryana, McKenzie, and Roger Newton

I offer my condolences and hope your pain gives way to many fine memories of your life together. Take solace in the strength and happiness your family always exuded when you were together. It was an honor and pleasure knowing Ken.
