Kenny a dear friend for 30 or so years was a joy to talk to! We shared many nights at the Legion laughing and talking. Kenny was a stand up guy that was loved by all of us and will be in my thoughts and prayers. It was an honor to know him..may he RIP. Love you Kenny God has a new very special Angel in Heaven.

Ken Plante was a former Commander of the American Legion Post 273 in Burlington. He was our Honor Guard and Rifle Squad Captain. Ken served our country as a Mechanized Infantry Staff Sergeant with the famed 1st Cavalry Division for 2 tours in Vietnam. He volunteered for the terrifying duty as Tunnel Rat crawling into enemy entrenched tunnels with only a flashlight and pistol flushing out and hunting the VC and NVA Enemy Soldiers, underground in tight quarters.
