Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. Sometimes, I look up old professors' names just curious to see how they're doing and where they are in case I have questions. Dr. Plotkin was one of my attendings at the University of Rochester. He taught me a lot about reading EEG's. He was not only very intelligent but also well-rounded giving opinions on the plots of popular books. I remember him discussing plot holes in the Harry Potter series. But what struck me the most was his kindness and...

Dr. Plotkin was a wonderful physician.

Ten seconds into my first appointment with Dr. Plotkin, by his noticing the movement of my eyes during our initial, perfunctory conversation, Dr. Plotkin identified a condition many, many other physicians (including my brother, an ophthalmic surgeon and various National Institutes of Health research physicians during a multi-year study) had failed to notice. Peace and God's Love to The Plotkin Family.

Carol, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. I met him once; he was a very kind man. Know that he is still with you as your Guardian Angel. May all of your memories of him keep you filled with his love. My prayers are with you and your family. God Bless You.

June 2015 - National Sleep Disorders Conference

We all meet many people on our journey through life but I was lucky to find someone with whom I established a special, soulful connection.... Ken, after meeting in summer school in 1977, we began a philosophical journey that led us down a similar professional path, first with medical school then neurology and finally with sleep and epilepsy fellowships ... You have been more than a friend, you've been a co-pilot flying along the adventure of life. We shared special times, being grooms men in...

Ahhhh, Kenny. A long ago fan of your humor and affability. Sad news that reminds me we make our mark all along the way....you did with me in high school. Hugs to everyone touched by this news. Mary Gorman, California

I met Ken at a friends house for dinner. I found him to be intellectually gifted, thoughtful and a kindred spirit in thinking about metaphysical concerns. He and Carol came to a party at our home; we were unable to re-engage about our interests. I wish we could have met again. He had a lot to offer in consideration of deeper meanings in life. He had a gift. He is missed. I believe he is at peace and enriched for moving on. My condelences to his surviving loved ones. He is with you.

I'm so sorry to have forgotten the three wonderful kids who lost thier father.alec.nat and Lilly.we all love you.Doug and Mary

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Plotkin family. From a fellow shakerite!
