He will always be our hero. A legend at ABMC. Always in our hearts and minds.

Ciao Colonello. Anna and I will never forget the good days spent together with love and care you had for us. My thaughts in this sad moment go to your lessons and words, only a leader could say. I remember your last visit to Florence, how you enjoyed a grappa and how you wept for your commerade in arms and we did too along with you. Your suffering was visible as was your care for those buried in our cemeteries. Today we shed a tear for you but rejoice in knowing that you are together with your fallen bretheren and those who you looked over for so many years.
