Kenneth Allen Pousson

January 25, 1962 – July 12, 2025

Slidell, LA – Kenneth Allen Pousson, a kind and generous man who cherished those important to him, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Slidell, Louisiana, after a long illness.  Ken was 63 years old, born in New Orleans on January 25, 1962.

Ken lived his entire adult life in Slidell, working in the fiberglass boat manufacturing and construction industries. He worked diligently in these fields until he retired early due to work-related injuries.

In his leisure time, Ken was a constant and familiar presence online, deeply engaged with the internet- and particularly Facebook, where he posted daily for many years, connecting with hundreds of friends and family members.

A private individual, Ken was known for his thoughtful nature and the quiet generosity he extended to his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him best.

Ken is survived by his loving mother, Joan Turgeau of Slidell; brothers Steve Pousson (Beth) of Chattanooga, TN, and Dwayne Pousson (Alice) of Pensacola, FL; aunts Carrie Pyzalski, Margaret Durio, and Janie Pierce. He was preceded in death by his father, Laurance Pousson, Jr.

In accordance with his wishes, Ken was cremated, and no public funeral service will be held. The family will honor his memory privately.

Ken’s Facebook page will remain available, and the family encourages friends to share stories, pictures, and other memories among his virtual tribe: https://www.facebook.com/ken.pousson
