Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn about Ken's death so late.

We have met just once, and we planed to meet again and to build our relationships, but... Life..
Let me introduce myself. I am Eugenie Rainin (Evguenia Rainina), and I am quite close Ken's relative. In spite I am younger, I am his aunt. Ken's grandfather and my mother were brother and sister, but Ken’s father was the oldest child in Rainin’s family and my mother was the youngest one (there were 11 children in Rainin’s family, in...

Mr Rainin was a great bloke. I will never forget the great times and adventures with Ken. He will be greatly missed.

sorry i just found this out and i'm really shocked. i remember spending time with ken, jesse and jennifer back in year 1999-2001. i was even on rasselas once. i really appreciate him for teaching me a lot of things and showing me amazing sights - that was one of my rare experiences. jesse and jennifer, my thoughts are with you. may your memories bring you comfort.

I was one of the few who started in the Analytical Instruments business with Ken way back in the early sixties. I, belatedly share my grief and offer my condolences to the Rainin Family.

I just read belatedly about Ken's passing. We were close fiends as well as competitors for many yers, and I will always remember this indomitable man. A great one has passed.

You never minded the late nights working when you could laugh and learn with him. I thank God that he allowed me to work with him and even now I smile when I am remembering his MCP tie and the mischevious grin on his face.

I was greatly surprised and sorry to hear of the passing of Ken Rainin. He was a "presence" in the company - his mark and decisionmaking abilities much admired. It is with fond memories I remember working at the firm where there was always another story of his business acumen. I guess he is on to bigger and better things, and he will be missed.

I worked for Ken twice - 1978 through 1981, and 1985 through 1994. Both times I was impressed by his on-going vision for innovation and in the first class manner with which he treated his employees. I join the 100s in extending my sincere condolences and best wishes to Jessie, who replaced me in 1994, and Jennifer.

My heart doesn’t want to believe what my eyes have just read. My sincere and deepest condolences to Jesse and Jennifer.

For the three years I worked as one of Ken’s assistants, my fondest memories would be of running around the building trying to find Ken so he could take a call back in his office. He was always in the manufacturing area like a child in a candy store - creating and holding his products with such pride.

His laughter was contagious and his pragmatist and candor...
