Kenneth Ray Wolfe Jr.

Saddened to hear about the passing of Wolfie. I had the pleasure to meet him years ago as his waitress and enjoyed serving him throughout the years. His silliness and kindness will always be remembered.

Ray never missed a birthday. My birthday is December 30th. When I didn't get a call or email yesterday, I checked online. I am so sorry. My condolences to Ray's loved ones. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.

My deepest sympathy to Wolfie’s family. He was a wonderful person. He mentored one of my students in third grade quite a few years ago. He remained a caring, positive influence in this boy’s life well into adulthood. I am thankful for a visit the two of them delighted me with a few years ago. They were there to wish me Happy Birthday as Wolfie did every year with cupcake and candle. I will miss him and am happy to have known him .

My family first met Ray Wolf when he was delivering Meals on Wheels to my then 91 year old mother in Westport, that was probably three years ago and very quickly Ray became a friend of the entire family. Ray attended my mother's birthday parties; he came to my house on Thanksgiving. Almost weekly Ray would take my mother who can no longer drive out for rides up into Weston around the reservoirs over to Westchester and get ice cream and sandwiches. Sally and I always looked forward to seeing Ray and Sebastian walking at Winslow Park. We will miss his warm smile and corny sense of humor. Our sympathies to his family and Sebastian.
