Not sure what to say?

What a great man. I only knew him for a very short time personally but my husband Jerry Broadbent loved him with all his heart. He admired him and said Coach Redmond wad the main influence in his life other than his loving mother Devona Broadbent. Jerry loved each day by the lessons he learned from Coach Redmond and Joyce Redmond. His memory lives on in the lives of all the young men and woman he mentored over the many years of coaching and teaching. We love love you Couch Redmond now and...

Not a day goes by that Jerry doesn´t have a wonderful memory of the years Coach Redmond guided him as he began his coaching career. He was such an inspiration. Mrs. Joyce is also a remarkable influence. Love them both.

Leon, Nannie & Ken - 1940's

We miss him and appreciate so much what he meant to us and so many folks over the course of his life. It is our hope that all of us will (with time) have the sadness changed to pleasant memories and hope of the future.

Love,

Kenneth Wayne and Linda Felts Head

I have just learned of Ken's death.

Ken was my first cousin. I was adopted into the Redmon family by Ken's Uncle Grover and Aunt Naomi. I will always be grateful for how the Redmon(d) family accepted me as one of them.

Ken and his older brother Leon were men I looked up to and will continue to honor.

My best wishes to his family.

Ray Redmon

Kenneth was my uncle and someone I looked up to my entire life. He will probably never fully realize the number of lives he has impacted. He was a true Christian Southern Gentleman in every way and always led by example. . He was truly bigger than life and I feel so fortunate having gotten to spend as much time with him as I did. I will always love him. Roddy

We will miss Coach Ken Redmond.

We remember when he came to Coopertown and had great success with the Football and Basketball teams. The players and students loved him....and he loved them. He was especially good friends with Linda's father and mother (Mac and Evelyn Felts). We were heartbroken when he left for a job in Nashville where he continued to be very successful.

He was a very religious man and was a longtime member of the Radnor Church of Christ. We saw him...
