My thoughts and prayers are with you today, Coach Reeder, and with your family. Rest in peace in the arms of the Father.

I recently learned of Mr. Reeder's passing.

Mr. Reeder coached me in football and junior varsity basketball at Archmere Academy in 1969, 1970 and 1971. He was one of the most significant influences on me during my formative years at Archmere.

Mr. Reeder was a person of remarkable decency and strength of character. I will always be thankful that my path crossed his, and that, for an all-too-brief brief time, he was an important part pf my life.

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Reeder and the members of the Reeder family. I had the privilege of playing for Coach Reeder for three consecutive years, as I followed Frank Buchy, as the next quarterback and co-captain at Archmere. Coach Reeder was a tremendously gifted and talented athlete and I often wondered how difficult it must have been for him to coach us, "mere mortals", who comprised the team during my junior and senior seasons.
