Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc - Village of Johnson Obituary

Kenneth Craig Royer, 62, of Bangor, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 7th, at his residence.

Kenneth was born in Elizabeth, NJ, on July 4, 1962, a son of Mary (Craig) Royer Cheress, of Linden, NJ, and the late Wilbur C. Royer. He was the husband of Becki C. (Keet) Royer. In addition to his wife, Becki, of 39 years, and his mother, Mary, Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Sage Royer, and two grandchildren, Jarren Royer and Kylie Smith.

Kenneth (Ken) was a 1980 graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren Twp., NJ. He was the owner and operator of K+B Pools in Bangor, PA.

Ken was a good and decent man. He was a big, gentle guy who made friends easily and loved to chat with anyone, whether he knew them or not. He was also an avid MOPAR fan, Cowboys fan, and recently enjoyed making miniature dioramas.

Ken meant a great deal to so many people, not only his loving family members in Pennsylvania and New Jersey but also to his cousins in Scotland.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tari Royer, and a brother, Keith Royer.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 2 - 5 PM at the Dyle E. Bray Home Association (formerly the VFW), 202 VFW Road, Bangor, PA 18013. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville," Bangor, PA.
