Kenneth Anthony Rubino

Kenny was there for me during a really hard time. He cheered me up when I had lost my way. He was always joyful and looking for fun. The man could fix anything at a time when I couldn´t. I respected him. He has a true friend whom I never had a doubt about. I wish I had done the same for him. I have no doubt that he was in our lives to make us better. And we are for having him with us. God bless you and your family my brother. RIP.

My favorite memory of Kenny happened at the Rubino family reunion in Seaside, Or. A couple nights we were out on the beach with a campfire late at night. We cruised the alleys of Seaside and found some old used pallets for firewood. His idea instead of buy firewood. We heard some rustling in a bush behind us and thought it was his cousin Johnny trying to scare us. So, we planned a sneak attack to get him. Funny thing is, it wasn't Johnny. I remember Kenny being an ambitious at a young age. He's couple years younger than I, but when got to meet him as a teenager I was impressed with his mechanical aptitude. He had an evening job at an apartment complex getting them ready for new residents. I come visit him and watch him work his magic.
