So sorry to hear of your loss. My mother (Pat Groth Schwappach) was a childhood friend of Nancy's and my son had her as a pre-school teacher. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family on the loss of your father and husband.

My sympathies for your loss! I will always remember having Ken as a para on my bus and his fun stories of the boys and grandkids. I also remember him quizzing me on the NFL team names. He was a great friend with a huge heart and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I have always admired Ken for how nice he was to everybody. When I was a little paperboy in Osseo , I liked collection day at the Scherer home because Nancy and Ken were smiling and they always had something positive to say to me.
