I have a photo taken on March 28th, 1957 in Calcutta, India, of Kenneth and Marcia Schubert and my mother, Eloise Walsh (2nd from right), on the occasion of my mother's birthday. I remember the Schubert name mentioned with affection during my childhood by my mother and father, George Walsh, who was posted at the U.S. Consulate there.

In the short time that I was fortunate to know Mr. Schubert he was a wonderful gentleman. He loved his daughters very much and all they did for him. I'm thankful to have met him. May he rest in peace.
