Not sure what to say?

Condolences to you Christine and all your family. So many sweet thoughts and memories of Rhett. He was/is a great man and friend.

We loved Rett! He will be sorely missed. We shared a wonderful time with him working in Zion. He also helped us buy our first home when we moved back to Cedar in 2001. He was a true friend and a marvelous human being! Dan & JoAnn Jones

Dear Christine, Michelle, and family,
We wanted to express our deep sympathy in the loss of your dear father and grandfather. Rett was a man of great faith and served in so many capacities with such dedication. We grew up with the Shakespear family in the 6th and 11th wards and thought so highly of them. My dad had the opportunity of serving with Rett as assistant scoutmaster in his later years and so enjoyed working with him. My mother appreciated and loved her association with...

My condolences to all of your family. Rett was genuinely one of the nicest people I've ever met.

When Rett hired me to work at ERA in 2002, I had no idea of just how lucky I was. He was such a caring, generous, and kind person, and like others have said here too, he had a great sense of humor! Christine, my deepest condolences to you and your family.

To the Shakespeare family,
Our condolences to you. We have fond memories of Rhett being our bishop in the 6th ward. Our love and prayers to you.

Kerry also had the privilege and pleasure to later serve alongside Rett when he was a counselor in the Cedar North Stake Presidency (President Robert Blattner). He surely touched our lives in ways that we were too young and naïve to recognize at the time -- and likely don't fully appreciate, even now. Our prayers...

All my love and sympathy. Uncle Rett will always be in my heart. I am so grateful for our wonderful family.

Rett has been an important part of our lives since we moved here in 1993. As our Real Estate Broker we could always count on him to guide us properly in our transactions and interactions with our clients.
As a friend we had many interesting spiritual conversations with him. Plus he had a great sense of humor!
His work values were God inspired, which is one of the reasons we loved him. AND we will continue to put our hands over our hearts when we pass through Tropic...
