Kenneth E. “Buster” Shaul, 77, of Eolia, Mo., died Dec. 23, 2004, at his residence following a brief illness. He was a former Anderson resident.

He was born July 12, 1927 in Anderson and was a life long Anderson resident. He retired from Delco-Remy in 1986 where he was a tool grinder.

Kenneth was a member of South Anderson United Methodist Church, Amvets Post 26 and Pendleton American Legion. He was a former member of the Redman’s Lodge. He was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed fishing and traveling.

He is survived by a daughter, Lynnette “Lynn” Godby of Anderson; a son, Wayne Shaul of Pendleton: five step-children, Robert (wife, Thelma) Owens of Anderson, Tina (husband, Mike) Gaul of Anderson, Diana (husband, Dennie) Wolf of Pendleton, Howard Owens of Anderson and Ginny (husband, Keith) Kinser of Pendleton; seven grandchildren and thirteen step-grandchildren; four great grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin (wife, Phyllis) Shaul of Anderson, Jerry (wife, Nancy) Shaul of Pendleton, Duane (wife, Ina) Shaul of Pryor, Oklahoma; two sisters, Marilyn (husband, William) Denman of Anderson, Arlene (husband, Jack) Faulkenberg of Anderson; an uncle, Herbert Shaul of Anderson; an aunt, Wilma Glenn of Vevay, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a special friend, Louise Beckman of Eolia, Mo. and his dog Zeke.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mary Shaul; and second wife, Patricia Shaul.

Services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Rev. John Hackney officiating. Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery in Pendleton.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
