Not sure what to say?

Continued condolences to Joey and all the Shears. It seems it was forever ago. I always knew him as my cousin Kenny-boy. Caring, thoughtful, gentle, intelligent, and always in good humor. If he was ever mean or angry, even for a moment, I never saw it or heard of it. I don't think I've ever seen that picture of him. It's certainly his face, but I only remember his long dark hair, usually in a ponytail. He was 7 years older, and we really only saw each other at family events. Feeling profound...

Joey,

I can’t tell you how sorry I was to hear of Kenny’s passing. He helped me more that he ever knew. My thoughts are with you.

To the Shear Family and Joey,
I have just returned from out of town to learn of Kenny's passing. I remember the first time that I met him at the Shear family home and his hair was long and he was wearing platform shoes so from my 13 or 14 year-old perspective, he was hip from head to toe. Kind, generous and always trying to do his best for others--that was he. I am sorry that I missed the funeral and shiva to express my heartfelt condolences to you in person but please know that my...

Dear Joey
I'm so sorry that the time has come to say goodbye to Kenny. His positive attitude made me feel that this day would never come. How lucky he was to have you by his side as well as the rest of his loving family.I know how much he will be missed.

Dear Joey and the Shear Family:
For 16 years I would look forward to my appointment with Kenny. Not only was he an artist, he was interesting to talk to, full of good ideas, comments, humor, sincerity, and kindness. I will miss him; my thoughts are with you.

DEAR Joe & Shear Family.
The last few years I have had the pleasure to have many conversations with Ken. I will miss them. Please know that I am thinking of all of you and offer my heartfelt sorrow.

The Shear family, we offer our heartfelt sympathy. There is no greater heatbreak than to loose a child at any age. We didn't know Kenny as an adult but he sounds like he led a life any parent would be proud of. You are in our prayers.

Carol and Murray and family:

44 years ago, Carol introduced our Optimist Club of Kendall to the Haven School to set up a boy scout troop. Murray and I were so much younger, but great memories of giving to the community are shared. Just like Kenneth gave of himself.

Our deepest sympathies to the Shear family.

Joey and the entire Shear family
I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful person. May God comfort and guide you during this difficult time.May all your memories bring you comfort.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Joey we love you very much
Your friend
