Not sure what to say?

Monk , while teaching at UMS, was the person who started the UMS Sports Hall of Fame and is a member . If you were at one of the ceremonies he MC'ed you were always in for a treat. His dad is the reason my dad ended up in Mobile from Milwaukee during WWII. Will be missed by so many.

Monk was quite a guy. A longtime friend of my late grandad. I recall yesteryear and the days I accompanied the guys having colorful conversation at Colonel Dixie. The fraternity was always well attended. Unfortunately most have gone before us. May Monk join his friends once again.

Semper Fi old friend!
Rest in Peace.

Skipper came to our home on Xmas eve dressed as Santa for our children for a number of years. He also gave my youngest son a REAL backpack that he had used in the marines that was bloodstained ,and Chris was very proud of it. He was one of a kind and we'll never forget him. Ann Carwie Mosley
