Not sure what to say?

Ken Snyder was always a joy to be around, with his keen wit, sharp mind, ready smile and unfailingly pleasant demeanor. He was one of our favorite people and we thank God for the many wonderful times we enjoyed with him and his sweet wife, Esther. We will always treasure those special memories. We found him to be a great neighbor and he was always a joy as a parishioner. Our lives are better because we knew him. We thank God for his example of godly living and by the grace of God, hope to...

I am a teacher at Fishing Creek Elementary School. I had the pleasure of working with Ken on a daily basis. What a remarkable man! He was always quick on the draw with a smile and a word or two to brighten our days. The children adored him and would always wave when they saw him riding the tractor around the grounds of the school. We will truly miss him. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Dear Family and Friends,

Not only do I currently have the pleasure of having Alicia, Ken's granddaughter, as my senior project helper at Fishing Creek Elementary, but I also had the pleasure of knowing Ken on a daily basis because he worked in the building where I teach. Ken would crack little jokes to make me smile and laugh each day. I was always aware of his presence because of his warm smile and kind heart. He will be missed.

Mr. Snyder was a shining light. He was a beacon, who by his work ethic, positive outlook, and caring attitude left this world better than it was before he lived his life. A smile, a nod, a good afternoon or good morning, welcomed you and acknowledged you as another on life's road to glory. One light illuminates and disperses darkness. Mr Snyder carried his lantern for good and the reflection of that torch will echo through the lives he touched.

I wanted Ken's family to know how much we enjoyed working with him here at Fishing Creek. He helped to make this school a fun place, not only for staff, but especially for the kids. I can still see Ken out on the tractor, mowing the grass and waving to the kids. He was a "grandfather" to many and a friend to all. You and your family are in our prayers. We will miss him. Sincerely,

To all who knew Mr. Snyder,
I am another teacher from Fishing Creek who just adored Ken. The children loved seeing him everyday as well. He will be missed greatly!

Good day. I am the secretary at Fishing Creek Elementary School. I had the pleasure of working with Ken and also the pleasure of enjoying his wonderful fudge. He was a very kind and caring person. I am so sorry for your loss. We shall keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Dearest Karen and family,

Jim and I were so greatly moved by the memorial service today. It was the most honest and adoring tribute I have ever heard. You are such a wonderful loving family and this comes first from your love for God and then by the example of your parents. I am sure your father's heart is briming over with joy and pride as he looks down upon you all. Derek was such a couragees young man, to be able to get up and share his feelings. The letters from each of his...
